what software do i need?
no software download required. you'll only need a free google account to use google slides.
What am I actually buying?
a fully designed director's treatment template in google slides. every layout is built — cover, vision, visual approach, casting, locations, cinematography, and more — with placeholder boxes where your images go and editable text everywhere. you add your ideas; the design is done. both light and dark versions are included with every purchase.
do i get the photos in the previews?
no — the imagery in the previews is reference content showing the template in action, and it isn't included (those images aren't mine to sell you). what you get is the design: layouts, typography, structure, and placeholder boxes ready for your own images.
does it work in powerpoint or keynote?
the templates are built for google slides exclusively. slides can technically export to .pptx, but layouts and fonts can shift in translation, so consistency will become a problem.
can i use it on my phone or ipad?
you can open and present from the google slides app, but editing layouts is much easier on a computer. build on desktop, present from anywhere.

how do i get my treatment after buying?
instantly. your order includes a welcome guide (pdf) with your access link and step-by-step instructions. click the link, sign in to any google account, and google will ask if you want to make a copy — say yes. that copy lands in your google drive and it's yours forever.
i didn't get my order email.
check spam and promotions folders first, and search for "pitch please." still nothing after 15 minutes? make sure you check the inbox for the email address you entered at checkout — typos happen. if it's truly missing, reply to your order confirmation or use the contact page and i'll resend.
the link says i need to request access.
that shouldn't happen — the decks are set so anyone with the link can copy them. double-check you're clicking the link from the welcome guide (not a link someone forwarded from inside their own copied file). if it still asks for access, contact me with your order number and i'll sort it fast.
"make a copy" isn't working.
you need to be signed in to a google account — any free personal one works. if you're signed in to multiple accounts, google sometimes gets confused: try an incognito window, sign in to just one account, and click the link again.
using the template
how do i replace the placeholder images?
right-click any grey box → replace image → upload from computer (or paste a url). the image drops in at the exact size and position of the box. layouts hold their shape — you can't break them by swapping images.
can i change the fonts or colors?
yes — everything is editable. the fonts are standard google fonts, already in slides, so nothing needs installing. that said, the typography and palette are most of what you paid for, so my honest advice: change the words, keep the look.
can i add, delete, or rearrange pages?
absolutely. duplicate any page you need more of (right-click the slide in the filmstrip → duplicate), delete what you don't use, drag to reorder. the design holds up in any order.
something broke, and i can't fix it.
google saves every version automatically. file → version history → see version history, then restore any earlier point. this is also why i recommend keeping your first copy untouched as a master and duplicating it for each pitch.
my images look blurry.
slides compresses very large files on upload. export your references at a reasonable size (1920px wide is plenty for a 16:9 page) rather than dropping in 50mb originals. if a specific image looks soft, re-export it at the display size and replace again.
licensing + business
can i use this for paid client work?
yes — that's the whole point. use it for real pitches, real jobs, as many as you like.
can i share the template with my producer / team / friend?
your purchase covers you. you can absolutely share your finished treatments with anyone — clients, producers, agencies. what you can't do is pass along the template itself (the access link or a blank copy) for someone else to build their own pitches from. if your whole team wants in, send them to the shop — it keeps this thing running.
can i sell or redistribute the template?
no. reselling, sharing the files publicly, or repackaging the designs as your own templates isn't allowed.
do you offer refunds?
because this is an instant digital product — you get the full template immediately — all sales are final. if something's genuinely wrong with your file or access, contact me and i'll make it right.
custom requests
can you make a custom treatment for my pitch?
that's what the custom page is for — if you want a one-of-one design built around your specific pitch, get in touch through the contact page with your timeline and what you're pitching.
